The Mako 6 is the updated version of the Millenium, considered to be the least stable but the fastest ski you could get. Those lucky enough to have paddled the Mako 6 consider it to be as fast but much more stable than its predecessor. It's considered an intermediate level ski.

| If you want a reasonably fast but relatively stable ski then the XT is the one for you and is rightly the most popular ski for any beginner. In tests it proves only to be around 5% slower than the Mako 6 but in stability, especially in choppy waters, it's a lot better. |
