KAYAK RACE III - March 26th 2006
Seaforth Beach 9am. Weather cloudy, wind around 30 to 40 kilometres per hour from the south-west. Wind swells around two to three feet. 23 boats, including 2 doubles, participate in the third Paddlers Kayak Race. Challenging conditions but nothing most people could not cope with, in fact the more experienced paddlers caught some very nice runs on the downwind legs. The course was the same as the last race; long course - Seaforth to Spaniards rock, Ark Rock, Spaniards Rock, Seaforth and short course - Seaforth to Spaniards Rock and back.
