Paddlers Kayak Shop - Race I results

KAYAK RACE I - September 2005

In conjunction with the Simon's Town Penguin Festival, Paddlers Kayak Shop organised a Kayak Fun Run Race on Sunday September the 18th. The race was aimed at kayakers so no surf-skis or K1 type vessels were allowed. The wind was pretty strong at 40-50km South-East so the course of the race was adjusted to a 2 lap circuit from Long Beach around the Yacht Basin and back.
