KAYAK RACE - 2007 WINTER SERIES - Race 1 - May 13th
Marvellous weather greeted the paddlers for the first race of the season. A light south easter brought up a small 1 foot chop to get your spraydeck wet on the upwind and some moderate surf for the downwind (which bumped Derek up to a max speed of 15.6kph on a run - if you're interested)

| Bo and Jared talk to the local kayak community about their paddle adventure down 1000kms of the South Africa and Moz coastline |
Joe decided that better than racing was to be Margaret's punka wallah. Volunteers welcome for future races. |
