KAYAK RACE - 2007 WINTER SERIES - Race 2 - JUNE 17th
Not a breath of a breeze greeted us as we set up for the race but by the start the expected wind had begun to pick up and by the end the long course the paddlers had a tough second lap grind upwind and could surf back on the inbound stretch. Because of the wind the course was Long Beach, around Clan Stuart wreck, through the yacht basin, around the navy climbing frame and back to the beach. Long course was 2 laps.
